Wow, just wow! I was determined to do a 10 mile hike I had found to see two waterfalls and walk along the coast of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It was cold, and since the only transportation options I have are either the RV or a motorcycle, I drove over on the motorcycle at 35 degrees. Brrrr. 3 pairs of pants, 5 layers on top, neck warmers, winter gloves, wool socks, and I was STILL cold. I was very thankful to get there and start the hike to warm myself up!

The loop hike was exquisite. Chapel falls - a must see. Pictured rocks lakeshore - a must see. By the time I got to Mosquito Falls, I was pretty warn out and they were pretty, but not as spectacular as the others. I was still thankful I did the whole loop though since the sun finally came out during the Mosquito falls part of the hike, and the birds became really active in the trees in that area. I stopped and just listened to all the songs for a while. It was so peaceful!
